Problem Note 35873: ERROR: Could not compile source code with DBCS characters in score code
When selecting Publish a Teradata Scoring Function in SAS
® Model Manager, you might receive the following error if the score code includes DBCS characters:
ERROR: Could not compile source code.
Ending SAS job due to TSPLTRANS errors.
DBCS refers to double byte character sets, most notably characters from the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean languages.
To work around the problem, replace any DBCS characters in the score code that is read into SAS Model Manager with SBCS characters (where SBCS refers to single byte character sets).
